In 2022, Dalberg Media partnered with the Global Center on Adaptation (GCA) to visually communicate critical knowledge aimed at accelerating global water adaptation efforts. We spearheaded the creation of infographics that highlighted the intricate connections between water adaptation, environmental systems, and socio-political dynamics. These visually engaging outputs were designed to inform and inspire multistakeholder discussions and policy action on water and urban adaptation strategies. The results were presented at the UN Water Conference 2023 and featured in Nature, a leading scientific journal.
In 2024, Dalberg Media supported GCA in producing a publication '2024 Stories of Resilience: Lessons from Local Adaptation Practice' that showcases stories of locally led adaptation to climate change. This collaborative effort involved collecting and curating content, co-designing the publication, and producing a compelling teaser video. The publication highlights real-world climate impacts, the resilience strategies of vulnerable communities, and the essential support required from governments and the global community. Together, these stories offer powerful insights into the challenges and solutions shaping the frontlines of climate adaptation.
