About
In a time marked by accelerating climate challenges, shifting geopolitical alliances, and tightening ESG regulations, how are trade relationships between Denmark and Africa evolving?
A new report authored by Jakob Dreyer — and developed in collaboration with Dalberg Media and Etisk Handel Danmark — explores this question. Drawing on interviews with Danish companies and sector experts, the analysis examines how external pressures are reshaping trade expectations and opening space for new forms of partnership grounded in sustainability and equity.
Dalberg Media contributed by helping structure the report’s overall narrative, refining the editorial flow, and designing a clear visual identity to make the findings more accessible. We also developed supporting graphics and materials to support dissemination.
The report features voices from companies such as Coffee Collective, offering a look into ESG practices in daily operations, and Salling Group, which shares their experience navigating the new EU ESG landscape. Together, the insights offer a timely snapshot of the opportunities and challenges facing Danish-African trade relations in a changing global context.
