Dalberg Media supported the Hempel Foundation in setting up the first Elimu-Soko Lab, which brought together governments, innovators, and education sector experts for a hands-on workshop on how to build back better public schooling systems in Africa by accelerating cost-effective solutions. Dalberg Media was also responsible for creating an explainer video for the initiative and later in 2023 a website.
The Hempel Foundation initiated Elimu-Soko to support governments in removing the obstacles to the use of innovations in public education systems. The initiative will try to provide innovators with a better understanding of government demands, key constraints, opportunities and ultimately accelerate testing and implementation of the cost-effective solutions in public systems.
