Dalberg Media produced 17 Bets for a Better World, a print publication in which some of the world’s most renowned thought-leaders detail how to achieve the SDGs. The publication has been supplemented by the learning material Towards a Better World, which is based on select contributions from the book and features learning exercises and reflection questions.


To build a global narrative around the Big Bet Initiative and promote the print publication, a communications strategy was developed and executed. This included developing a website for the Big Bet Initiative and producing video material with selected contributors to the print publication, including e.g. Julie Gillard, former Prime Minister of Australia and current chairwoman at the Global Partnership for Education and Olafur Eliasson, Icelandic-Danish artist and climate advocate.
