Stig Tackmann

As the co-founder, co-owner, and a partner of Dalberg Media, Stig Tackmann has built the company's expertise within strategic communication, media production and storytelling, as well as conceptualization, design and execution of conferences and events.

Stig's work focuses on driving major client engagements, building partnerships and coalitions for sustainable development, and operationalizing Dalberg Media’s strategic vision.

Prior to founding Dalberg Media Stig worked as the editor-in-chief for Denmark’s leading international daily news magazine RÆSON and for the Danish Ministry of Finance, the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Danish Embassy in Berlin.

Stig holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Columbia University in New York where he specialized in security issues related to climate change and development. Stig also holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen.
